We must elect courageous Texas lawmakers who will defend our schools and stand up to a Governor who bullies legislators legitimately representing their constituents. Greg Abbott accepts millions of dollars from special interests and then does their bidding to push privatization of public education. His actions are fiscally irresponsible and unconstitutional! It is unforgivable that the Governor held hostage funding for public schools because the Texas House of Representatives opposed his private school voucher scheme.
All Texas schools must be safe and fully-funded so they can staff classrooms with top-notch educators who are fairly paid and supported, offering the high-quality education all children deserve.
Let’s demonstrate parent power at the polls and win for the kids!
